The stunning Ecorider Galway Grackle Bridle.

Features:
  • Anatomic Headpiece
  • Stitch details on browband
  • Lambswool grackle nose

HEADPIECE
Alow good clearance from the base of the ears.

NOSEBAND
Grackle Noseband
Should be able to fit 1 finger width in between the noseband. The sheepskin
pad should sit in the middle of the nose above the nasal bone. The grackle
should start behind cheekpieces and above the cheek bones to avoid pressure
points. Make sure there is equal pressure top and bottom of the noseband.

Anatomic Noseband
Sits lower on the nose than a standard noseband. Its purpose is to encourage
the horse to keep their mouth closed or prevent them crossing their jaw.
Although it should not sit so low that its right on the end of the nasal bone. It
should fasten under the bit and sit in the chin groove.

Cavesson Noseband
Position 2 fingers width below the end of the cheekbones, loose enough that
you can fit a hand width either side of the nasal bone.

BROWBAND
Should sit with 2 vertical fingers width underneath and 2 fingers width below
ear.

CHEEKPIECE
Should sit underneath the facial crest, Buckles sit roughly around eye level.

THROATLASH
You should be able to fit a fist under your throatlash. If it is too tight it could
restrict the horse’s breathing
